Fort Bliss will more than double in population by 2012. Over $4.8 Billion in fully-funded construction is underway to support this unprecedented expansion.

All of the new growth brings the demand for the well-established existing anchors, the Post Exchange (PX) and Commissary to expand. And, the expansive growth paved the way for the first-of-its-kind shopping center.

Freedom Crossing at Fort Bliss brings the first-ever opportunity for third-party retailers to privately operate in a center alongside these demand anchors and locate in the heart of this extensive, growing community.

The open-air center will be anchored by the PX, Commissary and a 30,000 SF multi-screen, first-run movie theater. In addition, Freedom Crossing will feature premium-branded specialty retailers including apparel, gifts, services, jewelery, sporting goods, and a variety of restaurants.

Shopping on Post thrives with two, long-standing demand anchors: the Post Exchange and the Commissary. 

Together, the PX and Commissary drive traffic: repeat and consistent traffic. Last year on Fort Bliss, sales totaled $175 Million. With the addition of Freedom Crossing at Fort Bliss, annual sales are projected to exceed $350 Million.
