Mardi Gras Party

Freedom Crossing at Fort Bliss will host a family-friendly public Mardi Gras Celebration on Saturday, February 10. This free event is open to the public and will take place outside on the Freedom Crossing promenade. The party boasts authentic vibes that will showcase the spirit of Mardi Gras.
Complimentary Mardi Gras beads, masks and instant photo booth prints will be made available to all guest while supplies last. The Beads team will also provide face painting, dancing stilt walkers & jesters, and arts and crafts for the kids until 10pm. Food truck chefs will provide the tastes of Louisiana, in addition to beignets from the Mini Donut Depot.

2pm – 6pm: Beads Team Kid’s Activities Craft tables, make your own Mardi Gras mask, face painting and more!

2-2:45pm – Dance-off with DJ RamZ
2:45 – 3:15pm – Sol Studio Capoeira
3:30-4pm – Guitar Slim (blues)
4:30-5pm – Samba Batucada
5pm – Children’s Parade
5:15 – 6pm – Borderless Brass Band
