Let Freedom Sing – Joe Nichols

June 30, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Bring out the cowboy boots and two-step the night away
with multi-platinum Red Bow recording artist Joe Nichols and opener Tim Hurley at the
concert series on Friday, June 30 at 7 p.m. The Let Freedom Sing Concert Series, hosted
by Freedom Crossing at Fort Bliss with sponsors Western Tech and GEICO, is free and
open to the public.

Joe Nichols is one of country music’s most praised traditional country artists. His latest
album CRICKETS debuted in the Top 3 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and
spawned the two multiweek #1, RIAA gold-certified hits “Yeah” and “Sunny and 75.”
Nichols has six #1 hits and eight Top 10 singles to his credit, including chart-toppers
like “Brokenheartsville,” “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off” and “Gimmie That Girl,”
and Top 10 smashes like “The Impossible,” “If Nobody Believed In You,” “What’s A Guy
Gotta Do,” “Size Matters” and “I’ll Wait For You.” The 4X Grammy nominee is the
winner of the Academy of Country Music’s “Top New Male Vocalist” award, the CMT
“Breakthrough Video of the Year” award and the prestigious “Horizon Award” from
the Country Music Association. Nichols is currently touring the U.S. performing his
own headlining dates. Nichols just released his long-awaited new single “Undone,” off
his forthcoming Red Bow Records project. The irresistibly smooth track, sure to
become a defining song of the summer, is available now at all digital retailers and
streaming services and is set to make waves at U.S. Country radio on June 6.

Tim Hurley, who’s opening for Nichols, is a singer/songwriter out of Playa del Rey,
California. Originally from the east coast, Tim focuses on the message within a song as
a listener and as a lyricist, he strives to create an organic bond with the audience
through storytelling.

Over the last seven years, Freedom Crossing has hosted the free summer concert
series, Let Freedom Sing that has included nationally acclaimed artists such as Lee
Brice, Eli Young Band, Rodney Atkins, Jerrod Niemann, Blues Traveler, Gym Class
Heroes, Karmin, John Michael Montgomery, Tyler Farr, Craig Morgan and, most
recently, Brett Young.
